ATTENTION glee FANS: I have to post this amazing articulo because the person who wrote it dicho exactly everything I ever wanted to say about this relationship and why it surpasses all glee relationships!! The articulo is origionally por snl89 (a member of the glee forum), enjoy:
I really do amor their relationship and dynamic SO much I think, out of ALL the relationships (romance, friendship, o otherwise), it's probably one of the most complex and well developed of the show. I mean obviously there's Kurt and Burt, but even with them I feel like when tu get down to it it's actually pretty darn simple: they're a father and son who are each others' anchors and amor each other dearly. And that's a beautiful and very important thing, but it's not actually that complex.
Kurt and Finn, however... there's just so much going on there! I mean, to begin with tu have the fact that Finn actually treated Kurt like a human being and reached out to him as a friend in a way that pretty much no other straight boy in the school (short of maybe Artie) had ever done, and thus the basis of Kurt's crush on him.
And then tu have the fact that Kurt pushes Finn to his in terms of what he's comfortable with. Yes, at times Kurt can legitimately go too far, but for the most part he really does push Finn, probably más than anyone else, away from conforming to what the bullies want of him and toward actuación on his own judgment. Rachel has pushed him to do so as well, but I think that Kurt, simply por being himself, really ends up having más unspoken influence on him in that way than even Rachel. Kurt's strengths as a person are exactly Finn's weaknesses: Kurt's been harassed and mocked and put down por his peers all his life, so he's developed a seriously thick skin and the ability to not let any of that crap get to him. Finn, on the other hand, is very used to being popular, and because he's had the luxury and having it easy socially for so long, everything that people think of him is very important to him. Therefore, simply being associated with Kurt is a struggle for him because he just can't shake that he hates the idea of anyone thinking he's gay.
And yet, despite all of that, Finn DOES genuinely like Kurt as a person, and actually seems to confide in him in a way that he doesn't to most other people. And that goes both ways. On a social level Finn may be uncomfortable around him, but yet when it comes down to it, for some reason they just seem to get each other in a way that most of the other characters don't.
I think maybe part of it is that Finn is a lot like Burt, so even though they're tooootally different, that difference feels very normal and seguro to Kurt. It's what he's used to- Burt may not always totally understand him, but he's always there for him, and Finn has that same open, loving nature that Kurt almost inherently trusts. So it's easy for Kurt to let his walls down with him. I mean I think it really says something that he even did pursue him with such fervor! I don't think that's something he would have done with just anyone he thought was cute. Yeah, he was longing for a romantic relationship, but really at the corazón of it I think he just trusted Finn straight up as a person, and a friend. If there wasn't that foundation, I don't think the romantic fantasía would have ever developed in the first place.
So yeah, Kurt inherently pushes Finn to become a stronger person and stand up for what he knows is right, and Finn inherently pushes Kurt to let his walls down and open up about things he wouldn't open up about with just anyone (not even really Mercedes). Right now there's still quite a bit of tension there (because Finn is still a little jumpy from Kurt having pushed him so far out of his comfort zone, and Kurt is still pretty hurt from having had one of the few people he'd trusted and let his guard down with blow up at him so harshly). But even still, they still have that underlying connection with each other, that I think would still be there even if Burt and Carole weren't in a relationship. Because for all the tension on the surface, they still balance each other out.
I also really amor the difference in the ways they respond to each other when they're not comfortable with what the other is doing. Finn, in being his open and caring self, tends to try to brush off his discomfort and remain totally friendly like nothing is wrong. Whereas with Kurt, he may let his walls down with Finn at times, but if Finn is trying to comfort him and he doesn't want it, he has NO problem giving him a very clear "back off pleas" signal. So even on that level, they balance each other out: Finn needs to learn not to just brush things off when he's not comfortable with something so that it doesn't end up bubbling up until he can't contain it any longer, and Kurt could learn to not pull away from people so much and accept comfort when he needs it.
Aaaand wow, this ended up being a huge long ramble But yeah, I really do amor their dynamic so much, and I think once they learn out to get past the surface tension (which they will, because they push each other to do so), they'll end up being really beneficial for each other It may have started out awkward what with Kurt crushing so hard and Finn being very clearly straight and not comfortable with it, but even through that experience, they were ultimately pushing each other toward a common ground that will be the basis for a very solid friendship/brotherhood. They push each other to work through the messy stuff, instead of running away from it. And that doesn't just go for their relationship, but for life in general. And that's why ultimately they're good for each other.

Last night while I was trying to sleep and failed miserably,I kept thinking of the last mostrar I watched before going to bed.Yes as tu might have already guessed I am a pround glee fan.And we fellow gleeks probaly found it hard to stop laughing. Not only is the show's upcoming season going to have two amor triangles, but the fun and well-danced songs are sure to make tu sing allong in your best imitaing voice. My favorito! moment so far is the provacitive peformance of Salt n' Peppers "Push It"Which was done in front of regular high school students. The segundo best is when Rchel shares the brief but somewhat hopeful kiss with Finn.Let's all hope that at least these two people can get a romance right.
