Usually your local biblioteca will have every book in the series. That's how I read fruits basket everytime I get them. And they can get the libros from every biblioteca in the county. I don't know if this helped but its better than having to buy all the libros for over 400$

I'm afraid I have no experience on how to get them digitally, but I managed to get the whole series (except for the ninth volume, which I have yet to read) from the library, which is saying something as my county biblioteca system has a miniscule amount of manga. If your local libraries are anything like here, tu should be able to get a PIN code por asking a librarian, then tu can place biblioteca reservations online and pick them up at your preferred biblioteca when they are available.
