I think it was just a misceláneo name the writers came up with. Ken isn't that common, but Kenneth has been in the parte superior, arriba two hundred baby names in the US for over twelve years and it's más popular the further back tu go. There would probably been quite a lot of Kens in the 1990's. The surname Adams is also very popular - it's the 39th most common name in America, I believe.
