That's really easy! Emily is never on the tabloid magazines getting hated on. She is eco-friendly! She's vegan. She drives a Prius. Most celebs drive the most expensive cars ever. She dicho in an interview she would never pay $50,000 for a car. She is just like us. She is dedicated to her job. She seems very friendly & silly also. She's the perfect role model ever!

She is amazing. She made herself a celebrity without making circus with sex-videos and drugs and arrests. She made herself a great actress with her job,not stupidiness ot because she is "daddy's little girl". I admire those kind of people,who makes their own way and are not walking on other people's steps,'cause they wanna leave a trace. Emily sure did.

how dose ovid distinguish between a civilized person and a barbarian?

because even though being an actress there is probably a lot of pressure on her to do stuff that may go against her values she sticks thru! she thinks about other people and not just herself! she cares about the environment, and the animales that we share this planet with and she is awesome. yeah i used emily deschanel in one of my english projects, too! shes a good person from my perspective and if everyone where likee her the world would be a better place!

I agree with all that has been said, and add: As far as I can tell, Emily has had little o no cosmetic dental work done, which is a refreshing change from the perfect teeth brigade, and tells us something about her principles. In interviews she comes across as intelligent, knowledgeable and eloquent (provided Boreanaz is not around). She is courageous in the cause of breast cancer awareness, see Booby Scare on this site
