She's only just discovered the world so I doubt she'd be a good mother, not yet anyway. She's not emotionally mature enough (which is understandable) to be able to take on the responsibility of motherhood. She needs more time.

I don't think she would have the patience to deal with children and actually I don't see her wanting to put her body through pregnancy... seems kind of like the type that likes to be around children, but also likes to be able to give them back if they stink or annoy her.

She wouldn't be a bad parent per se. She'd be pretty good with kids -- I know the scene at the marketplace where she tried to help a starving child (at the risk of losing a hand, to boot. 0.0) is definitely proof enough. I think she'd be the parent who tries her best to raise the children, but at the same time, has a lot of blow-ups with them (*especially* in regards to entering the teen years) and still kind of has a lot to learn. Being imperfect, really. Not bad, though. #And that made more sense in my head, I'm sorry.

I gotta go with Ariel even though she has a kid in the sequel. As a mother Ariel barely paid attention to her daughter, hid her past and her own family from her kid, and wouldn't let her follow her dreams. yeah, good parenting. then again, it's opinion

She ran away from home where she is the heir to the throne. If she ran away from a responsabilty then she wouldn't be responsable enough to take care of kids.

I think Ariel is too irresponsible in my opinion to be a really good mother... maybe in a few years, but having a kid is a major responsibility that I don't think Ariel is ready to take on yet. She just is too reckless in my opinion to really be a good mom.

I don't think she would be a "bad" mother, but I do think she would have a hard time settling down and staying home with the kids while her husband is fighting....I don't see Mulan being a very good stay at home mom, and during her time period once she had kids that is what would happen...She obviously wants kids, but I see her choosing the hero lifestyle over the family lifestyle, so most likely no kids.

I honestly thought Mulan would be a great mom, but I have to listen t all part of the arguments. *sigh*
