She's certainly not underrated, she's noticed quite a bit and she is not even the main character in her movie.

She is shown WAY TOO OFTEN!!!!!!

I know she is great and everything, but some other princesses need the spotlight way more than she does.

I wouldn't say Cinderella is overrated. She's shown so often because she really does represent the quintessential Disney Princess. To be overrated means to be given credit when credit isn't necessarily due. when you haven't really EARNED the attention you garner and I think Cinderella does earn it.

I actually think Tiana wasn't all that great of a Disney Princess. She was good for a Disney Heroine but not really princess material. She's been getting so much attention just for being black and people kept claiming Disney was racist even though we already had three princesses of ethnic mintorities. Muslims, Asians, and Native Americans didn't seem to make such a big deal when Jasmine, Mulan or Pocahontas came out.

^^ totally agree! Also Kida from Atlantis is coloured yet she seems to go completely unnoticed, she isn't even counted as an official disney princess - while Mulan is even though she's not a princess at all!

I think I'm just pretty much picking the ones I'm giving a lot of attention to.

Cinderella is not overrated :( I think shes more underrated than anything.

Well, i also think Cinderella is underrated, Aurora just stands there and looks pretty in 18 minutes of her movie

Jasmine, has kinda an attitude problem and can be pretty rude, if you ask me. Also she isn't the main character of her movie, I think I read that Genie, and Abu got more screen time than she did. But people love. (no offense Jasmine fans)

poor cinderella, i think shes underrated. i think people look at the merchandise when they choose Cinderella, am i right? because in merchandise shes used alot, but the general consensus on fanpop is that people arent that big a fan of her.
