I haven't much this movie yet, because of the animation. I'm sure I'll will love it, but the animation...

Considering all factors required to make a good movie, PatF is the wort by far. The story is sloppy, the character arcs aren't believable, the majority of the music is horrible, the villains motives are questionable, the love story is contrived, and the animation isn't anything special. i love the movie dearly, but objectively it is horrible. My second choice would be Brave because the themes are muddled, the story looses steam half way through, and it's really a movie for a select few.

EDIT: I want to quickly defend Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty, while both movies are weaker than others concerning plot and character arcs, at least the arcs are believable and the story makes sense. Plus both movies make up for any weaknesses with stunning animation, gorgeous music, clear themes, and understandable motives from all of the characters.

None of these movies are the worst Disney film (not even close), but the weakest princess film is definitely Sleeping Beauty. The storyline is very weak compared to the others, the "main characters" are barely in their movie, and only have dialogue in half of their scenes, Maleficent's motive and drive is very weak, the pacing is painfully slow, the characters are not very likeable, with the exception of the fairies, the one to two songs in the film are great, but so are the other films music. They shove in everything that could have gone wrong with raising Aurora I. one day, which makes the film unbelievable. It is also the most boring and uninspiring film out of the princess movies

Sleeping Beauty might have the weakest Princess, but if you don't make the mistake to see Aurora as the main character just because she is the title character and instead see the movie as a fight between the three fairies and Maleficient, it tells a very good story about love defeating evil, even though evil is theoretical more powerful. The love of Aurora's parents, who rather give her away than letting her die, the love of the fairies, who give up their magic for 16 years to protect her, the love of prince Phillip who is ready to give up his throne and finally has to fight a dragon - all this are powerful symbols in good old fairy tale tradition (and since it is told like a fairy tale, it has be less logical in my eyes than later DP movies, who claimed some sense of reality). And yes, there are some pacing problems, but this movie has the most unique animation, one of the best Disney Villains, a score to dream of (it's perhaps Tschaikowsky's greatest work! There is no reason to be so dismissive, just because it's different from Alan Menken's style), perhaps the best climax of all Disney movies - it's a truly unique work.
For me, it's always between PatF and Pocahontas...PatF is such a colossal mess, with unlikable characters (Lotti is the exception), boring and unneccessary music numbers, obvious plot holes, a convulted story line - but at least, it's not safe, it's not dull, at least there is some creativity somewhere in this movie. But Pocahontas on the other hand...yeah, the story is pretty much straigtforward (it's not like there aren't hundreds variations of Romeo and Juliet and a bunch of stories about the "noble savage" who teaches awareness for the nature), but it's also dull, predictable, and very contrived in order to allow Pocahontas to make her last minute safe. The only good things in this movie is the score and the animation. It doesn't even have a decent villain! Faciliers plans don't make much sense either, but at least he is somewhat menacing.
So, I don't really know which one is worse......

I just really didn't like it, I was pissed off through out the whole movie. My second choice would be Pocahontas because while the music and animation are outstanding. I wasn't a fan of the romance and I just thought everything happened too suddenly, like magic.

I agree with Jayden-G. For me all of the Disney Princess movies are great!
Sleeping Beauty is an adorable fairy tale but the Disney movie is too dark, boring and uninteresting for me.

I like them all more or less but if I had to chose it would be tied with Sleeping Beauty, The PrincesS and the Frog or maybe Brave. The second half of Sleeping Beauty looks too rushed and quite dull to me and the movie was a little flop to Disney company. The Princess and the Frog was a little disappointment in comparison with earlier movies and I wish it would really been Disney's version Princess and the Frog- story instead something like it, there shouldn't be that original story book. Also Tiana's transformation to frog when she kissed prince is plain idea, it's something what 8 year olds children came up with, at least I did and I was disappointed when I noticed that Disney really used it (I thought the trailers were joke) I hoped Disney would have invent something unique.
I'm not quite used to Brave yet at least on this list, I like it same way I like Cars(okay, I like Cars more) and I find its plot weird and the characters are... uh.. messy to me.

It's not that much different from the story it's based on. Most Disney movies have some noticeable differences, but the only one I notice with this is the fact that Aurora doesn't sleep for a hundred years, just a little part of one night

And the fact that the fairies raise her, that she meets the prince beforehand and he gets kidnapped and has to fight a dragon, oh, and since it's theoretically based on the Perrault version, there is a lot of stuff they left out...like the part where the prince impregnated Sleeping Beauty with twins before he woke her up. (Really, does nobody bother to read fairy tales nowadays?????? Must be...otherwise there wouldn't be so many people complaing about the healing tears solution in Tangled, even though the healing tears are based on that particular fairy tale and belong as much in it as Rapunzels long hair.....)

Swan pride, I read the fairytale for Sleeping Beauty, and there's some screwed up stuff in there. After Sleeping beauty, it would be PATF or Pocahontas.

It fails regarding music, the animation is nothing special, the storyline is original, but doesn't charm either. It lacks enough comical moments and there were a lot of opportunities for them.

I haven't seen this for quite a while, but the two times I have seen it I have found PatF to be by far the most confusing of the DP movies. And when a film doesn't have a particularly clear storyline (especially in this genre) that makes it worse than other films that I may like less, but which at least have a storyline that makes sense. Then again, maybe it's just me and perhaps I wasn't listening properly when I saw it, though if that's the reason it doesn't say a lot for the movie.

I hate Aladdin because there are annoying characters like The Narrator, The prince and The fruit seller. My least favourite scenes are Aladdin asking Genie what he wishes for, Jafar telling The Sultan that Prince Ali is no difference from the others and Jasmine refusing to be a princess anymore. I hate Genie voiced by Robin Williams, but i do like him in Aladdin and the King of Thieves. I hate the animation of Genie because it's cheesy and awful.
