well,the reason that i like Deltora Quest(novel series),is that it has a lot of twists & plots, also the shadow lord & all his evil plans built up on one another is just amazing,there aren't many books for young readers(well nine & up)which have a complex endings, & beginnings.& all the stuff which is created never fails,its really well written as well. & the characters always stay the same,as if your in all of their shoes at the same time.also just the setting of the whole series & Deltora is brilliant. Also how is has Del, & then Tora, to make DELTORA(just one of the many examples).
