Another character has joined the potential Arrow/Flash spin-off: Dominic Purcell\'s Heat Wave.

Purcell will reprise his role as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, joining his co-villain Wentworth Miller\'s Captain Cold, as a series regular, reports Deadline.

Arrow/Flash DC Character Team Spinoff in the Works - IGN News

The previously announced spin-off is currently in development from Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim for a midseason premiere next season.

The series is described as a "superhero team-up show" that will feature Ray Palmer/A.T.O.M. (Brandon Routh), Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), and former Black Canary (Caity Loltz). The spin-off will also include three mystery DC Comics characters who haven\'t been on either series yet.

Heat Wave and Captain Cold will reunite before the potential spin-off series, as the co-villains will return to The Flash later this season.
