However, the didn't deserve to die THAT way. Even though the bucket killed Tom.
Instead of Carrie, it ends up being Chris who becomes the victim of her own prank. Also, Carrie's mom would be taken to an insane asylum where she unexpectedly dies as punishment for taking God's name in vain, and Carrie is adopted into a *much* more loving family.
But all the same, Carrie's little "tirade" is *exactly* what comes of bullying.
