Well barbie just turned 50, believe o not.
She was "born" in March 9 of 1959.
Ruth Handler had ispiration to make the doll por looking at her daugther plaing with paperdolls, she named the doll after her dougther Barbara.
A new doll is now for sale to celebrate Barbie's 50th aniversary. I have one, I will take some pictures to put here later.
