Is it okay that I can skip season 1?

I decided to watch Avatar, but I don't have the time to watch all 60 episodes and I am specifically interested in Toph's character. So is it okay that I can skip season 1?

Also, I did watched the first episode. And I did get spoiled a little bit with the show, so I do have some general expectations on the later events (Ex: Zuko's redemption).

There's also characters from season 1 who come back for season 2 and 3, Sozin's comet, the North Pole story, Aang trying to learn firebending the first time, etc. if tu know the big stuff like that then it probably won't hurt to skip the first season but if tu end up watching the first season anyway, I recommend skipping The Great Divide. It has no point, a frustrating ending, and it's an episode so hated that the writers make a joke about it in season 3

Honestly, go for it. I legit started watching at the end of season 2. Granted I didn't realize that Zuko and Azula were siblings so I shipped them for a while and it was really weird lol. So uh, yeah tu can probably get away with it, there will just be somethings that might not make sense.
