What are the Knights Templar? Myths surround them, mystery cloaks them. Not really, but seriously, pop culture has them all wrong. They weren’t out to kill everyone. Let’s take a closer look at a popular example and then the truth.

The Knights Templar in the video game “Assassin’s Creed” are the bad guys. They are the shady businessmen, the biased politicians. Their goal is to create a world perfect por their standards, hopefully killing a few Assassins along the way. For those who don’t know, the Assassin Order (also known as the Assassin Brotherhood)...

Story:
Following the events of Assassin's Creed II, Ezio Auditore da Firenze is now a legendary master assassin, and leader amongst the Order of Assassins. However, following a surprise Templar attack on the town of Monteriggioni, led por Cesare Borgia, the Assassins are brought to the verge of collapse, and the manzana, apple lost.

With his uncle dead, and his villa in ruins, Ezio must now travel to Rome, centre of corruption, power and inicial of the Templar Order in Italy in order to regain the Apple, and bring the Templar Order to its knees once and for all.
