Post a series that has themes of hatred, bigotry, prejudice, and intolerance as well as discrimination

I can't choose between posting two animes I have learned a lot from so I'm going to post both.


NO. 6- Where to begin with anime. It has a lot of issues that people would be uncomfortable dealing with but if tu miss out on the anime because of them, it is a huge loss for you. The series is mainly about human worth and accepting yourself. The people within the city are important and the people that are outside the walls are treated like trash, like literally the city has a 'cleaning' día where they round up the slum people and throw them away. Very well done anime, very deep characters, amazing lesson.



Hourou Musuko- A young boy named Shuichi Nitori wants to be a girl and his friend Yoshino Takatsuki, a girl who wants to be a boy. The series deals with issues such as transsexuality, gender identity, and the beginning of puberty. This is a rare anime that brings up an issue that would send most people running, but it was one of the most beautifully done animes I have ever seen. I learned so much and I have a greater understanding and amor for the transgender community and the human race.


And now I wish I could post both pictures but I'll go with the lesser known of the two Hourou Musuko.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Death Note.

Light, the main character is hateful to criminals and any person who gets in his way of wiping them all out. He's intolerant towards other people who try and stop him and his vistas are very biased and prejudiced as he takes judgement out on criminals. As for the discrimination, well he discriminates against any and all criminals.. even if they may have been framed, as long as society says they committed a crime, he takes them out.
