An anime were a character is forced to stick around someone that they hate but then become friends

I would say Working!!, because the main female protagonist has androphobia, a fear of men, and the main male protagonist, always gets punched por her. This goes on, well, forever, but they slowly learn to live with each other, as they work together.

I think Ranma 1/2 counts~ ^-^;

Ranma and Akane are actually in a forced engagement por their fathers. They very much dislike each other at first, but throughout the series they become close. c:

at the begining they both hate eh other....inuyasha really liked to see her die o kill her.....but later they started to like each other and become lovers,,,now inuyasha cant stand away from her o she getting hurt.....its the same with kagome..........he he he e

The wallflower. Sunako has to stay around these "radiant creatures" because her aunt is forcing her to become más like a lady. The boys are frightened of her, and can't seem to change her. They're only doing it to get free rent as well.xD But, in the end they seem to actually like each other!:D

I know that in Ouran kyoya originally didn't like tamaki and only hung around with him because of his status i belive

First anime that pops in my mind is Earl and Fairy!
Edgar captures Lydia to help him find something only she can look for, since she can see fairies. Anyways eventually they both fall in amor with each other.

Well there's Syaoran from card captor Sakura.He initially was cold to her though she was soooo nice but eventually warmed up to her to the point where he fell in amor with her

((Tsubasa Chronicles. They had a vague similarity. They all have to travel between dimensions. But all eventually became close friends.
It is a great manga series, and the main protagonists are Sakura and Syaoran, though they aren't the same characters tu think they are.c;
The anime was also good, I recommend the sub. The dub was good, but they kinda fixed alot of Kurogane's (the one with black hair) script to make it más "kid-friendly" I guess. He says "heck" and "dumb" rather than "hell" and "damn". Super minor detail, it just bothered me a bit. xD))
