Why One Piece?

So many people amor One Piece. So I watched about thirty episodes in hopes that it would get better. It's pretty cheesy, the art is iffy, and they're all overly hyper.
Does the mostrar get better? Like on with the plot. Do the fighting scenes improve? Does Luffy EVER mature????

It gets better, but if tu want maturity from Luffy, tu will be disappointed. Other than some serious moments, he pretty much will always be goofy.

awww darn! Oh well I guess Zoro makes up in the maturity area anyways... Thanks for replying! I'll keep watching! :D

Thanks for replying! I continued watching a little more, and I'm finding that I am (slowly) starting to enjoy it little por little. Of course, it'll probably never be my favorite, but I can now see the appeal. Thanks!:D
