Do tu ever get sad when someone says things tu consider bad things about a character that is one of your favorites?

I know that this is a strange question, but I was just a little curious. It doesn't matter if this character is well-liked o even hated por most of the show's fans except for you. If tu would like to, tu can give examples of a character. My example is Takano Miyo from Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. I know she is the antagonist of the series and all but when people call her evil o that she deserves to die, just gets me sad because without Takano, Higurashi looses its mastermind. I know it is other people's opinions and I might be a little over obsessed with anime but I still get sad since Takano was my favorito! character in higurashi. ^^;
The point of this pregunta is to see if there are people else like me who are maybe a little sensitive when it comes to things like this. Please be honest and I won't say anything rude about anyone's response at all. Just have fun. :)
