Well I haven't read the manga of D'Oro, but theres an anime called Uta Pri that it basically the same think (seriously the guys's personalities are identical in every way >_>) except it focuses más on becoming idols than just playing an instrument.

All of those are pretty good~ I personally like Nisekoi! and SKET Dance as my favorito! Shonen, but I think my favorito! shojou is Hiyokoi (: Hope this helped~
