Do tu Think, after tu reach a certain age you're SUPPOSED to stop watching anime? If so, what age is considered too old to watch anime?

I think what some people don't realize is that anime is not just for kids, but there is all kinds of anime for all ages. It's probably because in the Western world we're used to thinking that caricaturas are for kids and/or suitable for the whole family, because that's what most caricaturas are here. There are expections though, but still some people think shows like Family Guy are child-friendly... which I would not say is true, because I find the humor of that mostrar offensive, but I digress. Anyway, thinking that all anime is suitable for children could be even a harmful supposition, for even outright violent and/or pornographic anime exists out there, and people wouldn't want their kids to watch it, now would they?

Nothing,I KNOW for a fact there is no age to watching anime,anime is for people of ALL ages,not just children,here's what I say,If tu like something (no matter what age tu are!),It shouldn't matter what people say to tu about,It's what tu like! People can't stop watching that certain mostrar o anime in general,just because a few snobs,say anime is for children! If tu like it,who cares what anyone says o thinks!^^

What? What crazy person is making fun of those who watch anime in their thirties? You're never too old for anime! That's why they make kiddy anime like Tokyo Mew Mew,Sonic X and others ^^ And they also make mature o teenage animes like Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni,kai and Rei,Death Note, Elfen Lied o many más ^^ Same with caricaturas ^^ yes it can be childish to watch caricaturas but it's your life. So don't listen to those ignorant people and watch anime till tu drop! ^^ lol

my friends are saying i have to stop watching it cuz they it is 4 children under 6, that is so not true and they say that anime is stupid, man, i really hate them they cant have their mouth shut. that makes me so mad

hmmm, lets see, it really all depends on your self-esteem and your interest in anime, ages have nothing to do with when your gonna stop because anime is meant for many different ages. Most people lose interest in anime when they have to run a family because its a distraction.

I got into anime when I was 30 and I'm almost 39 now and still going strong. I also still watch American cartoons, like Scooby-Doo o Disney's animated features. I don't get why because something's drawn instead of filmed that that automatically makes it kiddie fodder.

Watching anime in an old age, is that a crime? It doesn't matter how old tu are. If tu feel like watching anime, just watch it!

Well, eventually tu might lose your taste in what tu liked as a kid. When tu were younger, tu might like sweets, but as an adult, tu may not. So as tu grow older, tu may either still like anime, o lose your taste in it. But I don't think after a certain age tu don't have to stop watching anime.
