How to get into actuación as a teen????

Getting into filmed work is hard. Even some of the big names on broad-way have trouble translating to screen. However, if your prepared to work hard and be dedicated it will eventually pay off. Here are some tips on how to make it into 'screen', TV o movie acting:

1. Stay in stage work. When auditioning for a tv show, the producers usually want someone with expirience, and if tu are a veteran on stage, you'll have better chances of getting hired.

2. Make inicial videos. Get a video cameras and film/star in your own videos. In fact, it would be handy to make videos of tu doing monologues o any other theatrical skill on video. Then subir it to youtube. You'll have a wider audience then, and it'll be easier to get talent spotted, and tu could mostrar a employer the tapes for refrence.

3. Audition, audition, audition! Sometimes it can take upto 50 audiences- sometimes more- before tu get hired. For that reason, go to all the auditions tu can. buscar online for filmed auditions in your areas (especially if tu live in a city o large town) and go to them.

4. Don't rule out música videos. música videos are a lot más easy to get cast in than actual films. Try to audition for those if possible and they look really good on your CV.

5. Watch your favourite actors on films. Try and note their tecniques and the way they act. If it worked for them- it can work for you.

6. get a agent. They'll be able to work out which roles you'll have the best chance of getting and hwo to get them. They'll higher you're chances of getting hired so much more.

7. Don't give up. Don't ever, ever give up. If tu want something bad enough, it'll happen eventually.

Make sure that your parents understand that tu have a backup plan in case actuación doesn't work out (which, hate to spoil the mood but for most people it won't - professionally at least). If tu are getting good marks and have a backup career then they will be much más likely to let tu get an agent etc. Other than that, follow all the other consejos publicado here!
