Originally Moreška was a romantic war dance.

It is supposed that the first Moresca Dance was performed in Spanish Lerida in 1150 as a reminiscence of the expulsion of the Moors.

It is also an Italian Dance, one the most frequently mentioned of all the dances of the fifteenth century.

In Renaissance writings it is almost always mentioned that a Mouresca, Morisque o Moresque (Arab Lambra,) o Morisco was danced and it can be summarized as the story about the fight for a girl, it can be performed as a solo o group.

Like many victims of the American education system, I had a dislike for Shakespeare years before I got my hands on anything he had written.
