Hey, how are tu doing! Did tu hear? disney has cast black actress Halle Bailey to play Ariel in a live-action Little Mermaid remake. There's also talk about them casting Melissa McCarthy to play Ursula, a character who was literally based on famous drag queen Divine. I think we should all give them crap for not casting a transgender person. Other than that, I hope you're doing fine. publicado hace 16 días

🎂 🍰 Happy belated birthday, my friend ! 🎀🎁🎀🎁🎀🎁🎀🎁 publicado hace 2 meses
Today is my birthday, and I don't have to work, do chores, o anything. I can do things I simply want to do. It has taken years for this to happen. But now that it has, that makes this birthday special to me. <3 publicado hace 3 meses

I was just watching parts of The Black Cauldron, yesterday, and then I compared it to the trailer for frozen II. It strikes me that I do not like the CGI much at all. The skin looks so plastic-like, and the "feel of a book coming alive" is totally absent. I just don't like CGI much, now. I liked the hand-drawn features, and--- aside from Tangled, the Series, none of that exists anymore... I just feel like less and less effort is being made to make a movie, especially a cartoon movie. publicado hace 3 meses

Tbh I feel like Dreamworks puts más effort in their cgi cine por comparison to Disney. I like Pixar’s animación too but they don’t always get it right. It really is a shame that 2D animación is practically nonexistent in cine now. At least in Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse it had unique animación that is normally not seen in movies, looking más like a comic book than anything else and while some probably didn’t like the animación tu can tell there was so much effort put into detail for each character and background. With cgi even if there’s a lot of detail put into the animación and even if it does look beautiful, there’s no variety in it compared to 2D animación hace 3 meses

I read this and thought "It's been a while since I've seen The Black Cauldron, but I certainly don't remember seeing and CGI in it." Then I thought that maybe there's another Black Cauldron movie I don't know about? Anyway, after re-reading this, I learned that I'm stupid. -_- hace 3 meses

I have to disagree a bit on the claim that: hand-drawn animated cine no longer come out. That's innacurate, because there are plenty of hand-drawn/2D animated cine that are released in theaters each year, it's just that they're not as well-advertised o popular as their CGI rivals, which is something I can agree with. I don't mind the usage in CGI if the story and characters are good, but it gets really tiring how CG animated cine are the ones who are advertised the most, yet hand-drawn cine that have más effort and soul put into them are practically ignored. Like back in 2017, there were several animated cine that came out that year, yet Disney's "Coco" was the one who "won" the Oscar, yet "The Breadwinner" and "Loving Vincent", both being far superior movies, didn't. I'm not surprised, I'm just sad. The existance of CGI animated cine isn't the probem, but their extensive use and the lack of variety in the animación styles. hace 3 meses

Elsa and Anna are not in this set, but Moana is, which is queer to me. If tu include Moana, why are Elsa and Anna exempt? disney makes me think yet again, that they consider frozen its own franchise. And Moana has her own franchise--- because she has been marketed separately, too, before this? Thanks, Disney. Your basic confusion level has reached a new low. Too weird. hace 7 meses
