“What the heck?!” I thought, “Flash! As in The Flash?! I am in so much trouble!! Wait, it was only a kid… Oh my Gosh! It’s his sidekick, Kid Flash!”
Okay I wasn’t sure if I was having a panic attack o a total fan girl moment but either way me getting caught would not be a good thing.
The blonde ran around the corner then yelled “You let it get away!”
“It was a shadow! Tell me how I’m supposed to capture a shadow!” He answered.
“What do tu mean por shadow?” She asked.
“It was... a shadow! I mean there wasn’t anyone here just…. It was… a shadow!” He stuttered trying to explain.
I left the two to argue amongst themselves and headed to the armored truck. “Okay.” I thought. “You are being chased around por Kid Flash, and the blonde must be Greens Arrow’s new sidekick, Artemis. Wait what!? Sidekicks? actuación as… robbers? Oh, no! The League must have sent them to capture me! Doc was right, the League wouldn’t just leave me alone! This was a trap and I fell for it!”
Suddenly, I heard a whizzing sound. I ducked just in time before it hit the wall. It was a ninja star? No, it was lighting up and beeping… Bomb! I jumped out of the shadows before it exploded. I landed rather hard on the ground and saw some combat boots. I looked up to see the Boy Wonder!
I gave an uneasy laugh “Hey?” I said. “Um… heh… tu know I’m a really big fan. Is there any way we could work this out?”
He tilted his head and frowned. “You’re not what we expected.”
I got up. I was a little confused at the statement and at the same time a little offended. “Oh. Well, what did tu expect then?”
“A guy, for one thing and…”
“And what?”
“A super villain?”
“As we can both clearly see I am not a guy and I am not a super villain.” I looked up the sky was getting dark. It looked like I would be getting inicial late tonight. “And if tu excuse me I’ve got to go.” I fused with the shadows and left him there, dumbstruck.
“Hey, wait!” He yelled and started after me “I don’t want to hurt you!”
“I know! tu are the Boy Wonder after all! And definitely not a super villain!” I yelled back.
I was almost out of the alley to the calle where there were almost no shadows. It would be a risky mover to go out with no cover. Turns out somebody made the decision for me when a blast of water headed my way. It hit hard and I landed in a puddle in the street.
“What now?” I thought “Aquaman?”
A black teen with weird tatuajes on his arm, gills, and fins walked out of the alley.
“Right it’s sidekick day, hola Aqualad.” I thought out loud.
Then they came out from nowhere, I was surrounded por them. Rocket, Miss Martian, Artemis, Kid Flash, Superboy, Zatanna, Red arrow and of course the Boy Wonder, they were all there. If they weren’t trying to capture/kill me I would be having a total fan girl moment. Though it might have been an inappropriate time I couldn’t help but smile, I even laughed.
“Well, what do tu know? I’m surrounded por my heroes. tu guys do know you’re a lot más awesome in person then on TV. If this is for all those vigilante justice acts I’ve been doing” I laughed “Then Doc’s going to be able to say ‘I told tu so.’”
“You have been endangering your own life and the lives of others.” Aqualad said. He must have been the leader. I mean cool headed and with strong voice filled with confidence--this kid knew what he was doing and he looked pretty good while doing it. “You’ve impersonated members of the League. You’ve-“
“Yeah, yeah, yeah Waterboy.” I interrupted “Mind if I call tu that? I can get enough lectures from Doc. tu don’t need to tell me something I’ve heard before. How about I promise tu I won’t do anymore vigilante stuff and then you’ll let me off the hook?”
He wasn’t impressed with my negotiating skills.
