Nicole slowly opened her eyes to see black smoke, and fluttering ashes falling to the ground. She sat up and rubbed the ashes and remains of blood from her face. Robin moaned and sat up fixing his crooked mask. Nicole coughed as part of the building fell to ground stirring up más smoke and ash. Robin had a cut on his forehead, and blood was dripping onto his mask.
"Where's B-b-batman?" Nicole stuttered out her words as the overpowering smoke filled her lungs.
"No idea." Robin wiped blood off his forehead.
"What even happened?" Nicole coughed.
"Joker blew up the place. But where's bats?" Robin looked around in the ruble from where he was sitting. Nicole gasped as strong arms rapped around under her arms and pulled her up. She relaxed as she recognized the familiar grip and smell of her uncle. Robin got up from the ground and walked over to where batman and Nicole were standing.
Nicole walked down the steps of Wayne Manor, still groggy from the anterior day, she wandered into cocina to find Alfred fixing his usual Saturday morning pancakes.
"Good Morning Miss Nicole." Alfred didn't look up from the stove.
"Mornin' Alfred." Nicole yawned as she sat on a bar stool.
"Alfred, is Dick up yet?" Bruce walked in carrying a newspaper.
"No, master Bruce." Alfred still didn't look up.
"Nicole, be a dear and go wake Dick up," Bruce dicho as he sat siguiente to his niece.
"Fine." Nicole got up and left the kitchen, grabbing a bucket on the way out. She found her way into the bathroom and filled it with water. Nicole walked into Dick's room and stood over him.
"Hey sunshine get up!"
"Go away!" Dick pulled the covers over his head.
"You forced it upon yourself." Nicole dumped the bucket of water on her cousin. Dick shrieked and jumped up, Nicole took off running with Dick chasing her at her heels. She laughed as she ran into the cocina and hid behind Bruce. Dick came in slinging water everywhere, wearing only shorts, he spotted Nicole and leaped after her. Bruce stood in between the cousins,
"Enough, enough! What happened?"
"She poured water on me!" Dick pointed at Nicole while she snickered. Bruce looked at her, "Why did tu do that?"
"He wouldn't wake up!" Nicole sputtered out words as she laughed and giggled.
"THAT'S NOT FUNNY!" Dick screamed at Nicole.
"Both of you, to the cave, NOW!" Bruce pointed to the entrance of the cave as both kids trudged off, shoving and laughing at each other.

Eyes of Artemis
Dick’s POV:
He let a small laugh escape through his mouth. He knew it was Artemis and maybe she knew he was Robin. But it was a tiny chance he looked at her, standing in the crowd talking to Rachel a senior year. He smiled. Artemis was in good hands.
Artemis POV:
“Thanks” She putted the papers in her bag. “tomorrow a need them back so don’t forget them.” “Got it.” Artemis answered. Rachel started to talk “Well, let’s start then, We are now in the hall of the Gotham academy.” Artemis looked around, everybody was to their lessons except a few. The hall itself was made of grey, silvery stone. The muro reflected the blue sky and she thought of the strange boy. “Are tu coming o not?” Rachel stood in the giant stanchion. “I’m coming.” As she walked to Rachel remembering the mysterious laugh.
