Chapter One-
She walked down the calle quickly, trying to find her shelter and get to warmth. It had been a mes since her encounter with the Boy Wonder and the Man of Steel. Ever since, she had had to be very careful about when and how she used her powers. Especially when all sorts of super-heroes began mostrando up in her side of town.
She didn’t consider herself a superhero. She considered herself a pain in the butt. Everytime she tried to help someone, she ended up hurting them. She couldn’t stand the pain.
She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn’t see the person in front of her before it was too late.
The two fell to the ground and Alexa quickly stood up. “I’m so sorry, I-”
She stopped herself at the white face of the person standing in front of her. One look at the purple and naranja suit confirmed her suspicions.
“It’s quite alright.” Joker said. “In fact, I was looking for you.”
“You, tu were?” Alexa stuttered.
“Yes! We amor someone with such pretty green eyes like yours!” Joker replied.
Alexa just stood for a moment, looking at the misunderstood criminal in front of her.
“What- what do tu want?” she asked, unsure of herself.
“Just to give tu a nice bowl of sopa and some warm clothes.” Joker said.
“I somehow doubt that.” Alexa said.
“Please?” Joker asked, reaching for her wrists.
“Don’t!” she warned, but it was too late. As soon as their skin touched, imágenes flashed through her mind. imágenes of pain and ridicule. A few imágenes caught Alexa’s attention. Joker as a regular human, getting kicked out of a bar because of a bad joke. batman throwing Joker into a pit of acid. A few más painful imágenes flashed through, but she forced them out and disconnected the contact between her and Joker.
Joker’s body rattled a little más as the electricity departed his body and he fell to the ground. Alexa gasped, looking at the Clown Prince of Crime. batman dropped down siguiente to her.
“Impressive.” was all he said, before reaching down and handcuffing the clown.
Alexa gasped and ran away, down an alleyway and through a muro into her shelter.
It wasn’t much, just an abandoned apartment. Ratty, red furniture decorated the room and a TV that partially worked sat on the wall. A cama was in one corner and various traps lay around the entrance way.
Alexa sank through the floor and appeared in front of the sofá a moment later. She sat down and willed the TV to turn on as she pushed herself against the warm heater.
“...and Joker was apprehended por the batman today, who made a visit to the fair city of Jackson. Here comes the Caped Crusader now! Batman! Batman! Can we get a word?”
Alexa watched the black and white screen as the Caped Crusader shoved the Clown Prince of Crime into a car and disappeared into the shadows.
The camera turned towards the police car where Joker was muttering “I was only trying to help...he he....”
Alexa cut the TV off telekinetically and huddled on the couch.

“Or can I?” she asked.

"The frost bit at my uncovered skin, leaving my limbs numb and limp."
I had a black swimsuit I tied my hair and walked outside.
"Or maybe I should save myself all the trouble and kill you now..."
