“What has become of the master?” Bialya asked Salva.
“He has grown soft. We must finish the mission assigned to us.”
“It will be hard, Salva,” Serepta said.
“Not to mention dangerous,” Cassie added.

A girl walked in, her white hair cut at the nape of her neck. Her wide red eyes looked bored and she was smaller than the others, although she seemed to be fifteen. She was wearing a black short dress with cordón, encaje on the bottom of the skirt. Her thigh length black stockings also had cordón, encaje at the fringe and her feet were covered in thick black boots. A black choker fit on her neck, no air between the fabric and her skin. Black pointed wings protruded from her back. She leaned against the door jamb, bored out of her mind.
“What is it Salva?” she droned.
“We had a bargain. Revenge in exchange for your army?”
“Oh yes. Here's the whistle. They will listen if tu blow it after every order. Where is she?”

“We need your army to become part of the distraction. Then tu and I can slip unnoticed.”

“My army can take care of the heroes. What tu need is to go find her. While the others play house.”

Vita smirked, her face alight with mischief.
“Why my dear Salva I'll be entertained. I'll be lookout. And I will also get a chance to visit an old....friend of mine.”
“Alright. When do tu suppose we do this?”
“Tomorrow morning. Before the sun comes up. They'll be groggy and...my friend will have a wonderful surprise. In fact, it might cause her to die.”
