“That was amazing,” Kendra admitted as she looked at her sleeping daughter.
“Becca's always been afraid f thunder storm,” Robin explained. “I'm used to these things.”
“Well she certainly is calm around you. Thank you.”
“No problem. I enjoy doing it. I hate seeing her scared and hurt.”
“Well, I'm glad she has you.”
Robin smiled brightly. Luna gave him a wink.
“What do we do with her now?” she asked.
“What do tu usually do?” Kendra asked Robin.
“Depends. When it's a little storm, Becca will go back to sleep till morning. But a storm like this...no way. Becca would wake up before ten minutos is up. When these storms hit, I usually sleep with her. It keeps her calm.”
Robin blushed. He felt silly and embarrassed por admitting such things to Becca's mother, but Kendra smiled. It was a warm smile that made him feel assured.
“Do what tu must. Becca has been away for so long. I don't know her anymore. But tu do. Whatever tu say is best for Becca is alright with me.”
“Thank tu your majesty.”
“Call me Kendra. Although some things will not be changed, tu have dado Becca a freedom she can never deny. For that, you've earned my trust, young hero.”
Becca opened her eyes, feeling the sun on her face. She stretched with a yawn and smiled up at Robin.
“Were tu watching me sleep?” she asked, even though she already knew he had.
“No,” he denied.
Becca rolled her eyes and smirked.
“Creeper,” she muttered.
Robin gave her his best perrito, cachorro dog face and feel back onto the bed. Becca smiled.
“Your words wound me my lady,” Robin teased.
Becca couldn't contain her giggle and leaned towards him.
“Is there any way I can console you?” she whispered.
Robin's eyes twinkled playfully.
“Maybe.”
Becca smiled lovingly, placing a soft kiss on his lips. Robin brought a hand to the back of her neck, further deepening the kiss. A knock on the door caused them to part. Becca smirked, gave Robin a quick kiss, and straightened.
“Enter,” she called.
Willow poked her head in and moved into the room, Wally following behind her.
“Becca! I was getting worried about you!”
“Hey Willow.”
Becca hugged her friend and sister before looking over at Wally.
“Hey kiddo,” he teased.
Becca glared at him.
“Dork.”
Wally grinned.
“We wanted to make sure tu were okay cause of the thunder storm and all,” he explained.
“I'm fine. Robin helped me through most of it. But I'm okay.”
“Good. We also wanted to know if the two of tu wanted registrarse Willow and I.”
“We're going on a picnic!” Willow exclaimed, nearly bursting with glee.
Becca laughed and looked at Robin.
“What do say, knave? Wanna go?”
“Knave? First I'm a creeper and now I'm a pirate? Do tu need your eyes checked o something?”
Becca gave him a pouting face, one he couldn't resist. And Becca knew it. With a sigh and a soft apology, Robin had Becca smiling in no time.
“Sure. We can do that,” Robin answered the two still standing in the room.
“Great! We'll meet tu guys in the garden at noon. And don't be late!” Wally teased.
“Don't be the last one,” Robin retorted.
“Dude!” Wally screamed as Willow pushed him out the door and closed it behind her.
Becca turned to Robin with a smile. She could feel the excitement bubbling up inside her and warming her heart.
“This is going to be the best día ever. Now I just need to figure out what to wear.”
Becca slid off the cama to look in her closet. But Robin pulled her backward and into his lap.
“Not yet! tu need to explain about the pirate name-calling.”
“You are. Going around and stealing things when tu feel like it!”
“When have I ever stolen anything?”
“You've stolen several kisses from me.”
“Way to get technical! Anything else?”
“Yes. You've also stolen my heart.”
Robin froze for a minute, letting the words sink in. Becca looked up at him, her eyes sincere and loving. A minuto later, those same eyes were slid shut as Robin pressed his lips to hers. As the two continued their embrace, Luna watched, half of her body hidden behind the door. A soft smile graced her lips as she watched the two on the bed. Wherever Becca had been, it had helped her a lot. Not only had she grown up and become a strong warrior, she had also found love. And Luna could tell that it was one of those loves that was made to last.
