‘Phase one, complete. On to phase two!’ I thought
I grabbed a really full glass of water and walked over to Wally.
“Water? tu must be thirsty from running all the way here from…where were tu again?” I asked. Behind Wally, Artemis was making gagging motions

“Wow. That’s far for a person to run” I laid the flattery on pretty thick. I offered him the water, spilling it on his shirt. That was not part of the plan. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Megan and Robin laughing slightly. I closed the gates of my mind. I looked at my hands. They were all burnt and rusty.
“Hey Megan! Can tu come with me to the baño, cuarto de baño so I can wash my hands?!” I called, making it más of an order then a question.
“Sure” she smiled at Robin, then we flew to the baño, cuarto de baño together.
“Why are tu turning on me? tu know the plan was to get Wally to drink the water so he gets sleepy, then we pull the rest of the plan off while he sleeps!” I demanded as I washed me hands
“Just trying to make it más interesting” she smiled. I closed my eyes and wrote a note in the rust on the doors: Do not trust Megan with my secret part of my plan.
“ALEX!!!” I heard Megan scream. I looked down at my hands and realized they were scorched and smoking. I shoved them under the water and had to stop myself from screaming in pain. Megan looked at my hands in concern. There was something beyond those doors that was burning my hands.
“Megan, I need tu to go into my mind with me” I said
“What? I’m not sure that I can” she said, shocked
“Take my hand” I held out my hand for her. She took my hand and I concentrated on the giant doors. Suddenly, I was in front of them, Megan por my side.
“Where are we?” Megan asked in wonder
“We are at the doors to my mind” I explained. I walked up to the doors and pushed. Once they were open, I beckoned for Megan to follow me. We walked through not knowing what was on the other side. When we got through, I wish I hadn’t brought Megan. It wasn’t that I didn’t like her; it was because there was a giant fuego at the end of my mind. I glanced over at her and noticed the look of worry on her face. I rested my hand on her shoulder comfortingly. I flew over to the fire, Megan waiting at the entrance. When I got there, I looked into it. At first, all I saw were flames; then, pictures appeared. I gasped. They were pictures of me. Me in the past.
“I know what this is” I whispered “This is the fuego of my mind”
