This is a serious question: Do tu think Yoshi is and always should be Mario's dinosaur transpiration and nothing más o is he más than a dino escort through Mario worlds?

One of my friends today dicho that Yoshi shouldn't be a main Mario character as in, he should only be Mario's sidekick o "noble steed" as she called him (I disagreed with her statement). Yoshi is way más than Mario's trustworthy dino pal....HE'S A HERO!!! And no one can change that!! Not even my friends who somehow disagree with how Yoshi is!!
