I should get Rogue’s and Laura’s countdowns up soon but I figured I would get Kurt’s done so that it would actually be publicado while he was Mutant of the Week. My excuse is the same as everyone else’s. School started and I have más to do with my día then write articles. Since I can’t think of anything else to put here let’s get to the costumes.
1. Circus Costume
This was originally Kurt’s circus costume but he also wore it when he became and X Man and it is probably one of his most well known uniforms. It is mostly black with white boots and gloves with red edging, and a large V shaped red area on the chest that flairs out at his shoulders. Unlike a lot of first costumes this one is great. It’s simple, very iconic, and timeless.
2. Cloud Nine Uniform
This costume was apparently designed por someone named Silkworm after Kurt’s other costume got messed up. It is a lot like the other one but it seems más dark gray than black and the red area covers the parte superior, arriba part of his chest and around his neck. The diseño on the boots also seems altered. Because this is a lot like his first costume I don’t really find any problems with it other than I think the black looks better than gray. All in all a good uniform.
3. Swashbuckling Uniform
Kurt decided to make a major change in his en general, general look that más reflected his amor of pirate movies. Some of these changes included getting a new hair cut, growing a goatee, and making some big changes to his uniform. These include adding a belt, and a red poncho type thing, along with a badge on parte superior, arriba of this. I really like the idea behind the outfit and I think he pulls it off. It defiantly looks más dashing then his other ones.
4. New X-Men Uniform
After he became a priest the X-Men adopted a new team look of sorts. Kurt’s was dark blue with a large red X on the chest (the X was about the extent of the team look) with white boots and gloves, and grey o silver colored shoulder pads. Now usually I am not a big fan of shoulder pads but they manage to work on this uniform. I also like the fact that it’s blue rather than black. I think blue looks much better on Kurt.
5. Leather Uniform
At this time the X Men were wearing leather rather than bright spandex. Kurt’s uniform was a black suit with a high neck and gray padding on the shoulders, knees, chest, and neck. Little yellow lines adorned the whole thing and the gray padding formed an X on the chest. I never was a fan of the whole leather look and this is no exception.
6. Another New X-Men Uniform
After the X-Men decided to ditch the leather another new costume change was in order. This one looks a lot like Nightcrawler’s last one but with más designs and flourishes. It is a dark blue gray with red patches on the arms, legs and neck. There is some light gray padding around his stomach and on his knees and all the patches are outlined in gold. This may just be because I prefer simple costumes but I do not like this one. It’s too bright and flashy, and it doesn’t seem like Nightcrawler to me.
7. Cloud Night Variant
When the X-Men yet again got new costumes Nightcrawler of course got one too. He went back to his roots with this one and más o less just altered his nube Nine costume. The black part looks a tad más blue, the red cuffs on the boots and gloves are simpler, and now there is a red and yellow X symbol on the chest. He also added a collar rather than the normal suffocating neck line. It’s a nice spin on an old costume. Maybe not the greatest but certainly not the worst.
Well I finally got this one out of the way. Thank tu Kurt for not having a lot of costumes. I promise I will get the others up as soon as possible but it may take time since I have to find Laura’s costumes por myself and Rogue has a lot.
