fantasía creature name ideas?

A Bi-Species? Weak, I know but it (somewhat) works.

The greatest thing about fantasía creatures and characters is that the names of them don't have to make any sense at all. The reader has no frame of reference because tu aren't saying to them that this creature is anything other than what you're calling it. I like to just bash my keyboard until a get a grouping of letters that looks like something to me. It literally doesn't matter. tu could call it a Poostick but spell it Pustic and people will credit themselves with the connection. Don't really do one that obvious, but tu get the point. DamnableChimeraBeast could become Dachast. I personally think Duchast sounds better though, but tu could tweak it even further to Duhaust. (sounds to me like a ramstien song lol) So just use your frustration to turn it into something entirely new. It will make your story fresher and más intriguing than trying to use terms that will make sense to everyone. Have some fun with it. HumanTiger: Huger: Too much like hunger(maybe good, is this an evil being?) Hugor: Too much like Hugger. Fugor. That'll do. However the process takes tu it will be better than an over thought term that is likely over used. Like Halfling.

I once had this problem too, but what I did was ask my friends to tell me a misceláneo word, then I put it backwards! It worled pretty well I ended up with elpoep...
