I first saw it some 14 years ago and the beginning stuck with me all these years in all but detail. My mind blocked everything from the moment on when the wolf tore the woman out of the tent and now that I saw the beginning again, I understood why. Even now at the age of 27 and after seeing countless of werewolf movies, I was all O__O !!!

The wolf design is one of the nicest I remember seeing even though it looks a bit fake. (I mean, it could look a bit fleshier, maybe.) And I loved the aspect of the protective family dog and enjoyed the fight scenes between it and the wolf. ^^

To me an awesome werewolf movie is either exactly like this, or like The Company of Wolves. Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed is something in between the two for me.
