I don't think she's particularly one way or the other, but overall I get the impression that she's smarter in some areas than others!

I really do love Anna, but she makes som pretty dumb decisions in the movie... Like throwing that snowball at Marshmallow, might be done for laughs, but it was still a stupid move on her part.

Also, the whole "Let's get married RIGHT Away!" I know she was desperate, but not THAT desperate :o Well, it did come back and bit her at the end...

Sorry, Anna...

She has her good moments and her bad moments. I'm not going to say she makes the best decisions but she certainly is not stupid, she just does boneheaded things sometimes.

She is even lack of common sense.

all the girls made dumb decisions. especially Belle, who is widely regarded as the token smart girl, and Rapunzel too (also seen as smart). making poor choices isn't an indication of dumbness.

she's not stupid by any means or a genius. she's just very sheltered and yes, doesn't always make the brightest choices. I have her lower on my list for intelligence though.

and the first comment is right. there are different types of intelligence.

For someone who hasn't had much experience in the real world, she is pretty intelligent.

Anna is impulsive and passionate. She is still naive and idealist. However, that doesn't mean she is not intelligent. She proved us that she is quick-witted:
- When she deduced that Elsa was on the North Mountain from Kristoff's utterance
- When she managed to make Kristoff to guide her to the North Mountain
- When she was encountered the wolves
- When she used a tree to stall Marshmallow.

Moreover, she knew that she made wrong decisions and tried (& succeeded) to improve her, Elsa's, including the kingdom's situations.

Anna is kinda dumb with naively trust strangers...

In some ways she's smart in other ways no she's isn't
