About Bram Stoker's Dracula the book... (Spoils few films & the book.)

In the book:

1.) Can Dracula reverse the curse? Like in Dracula 2000 he made Mary into a vampire but in the end turned her back into a human - o so I understood it.

2.) There is no Dracula/Mina romance in the book like there is in the 1992 film?

3.) Does he die in the end of the book? In Dracula (2006), he doesn't, which is awesome 'cause I amor that movie's version of the character.

4.) Which current film adaptation follows the books's story most accurately?

I haven't actually seen the cine so I don't know how much help I'll be but I have read the book so it should help a bit.

1) In the book the curse ended when he was killed.
2) There's no romance with Dracula in the book everyone sees him as disgusting and evil.
3) Guess I answered with 1. Yes they did kill him.
4) I have no idea because I haven't seen them but I can tell which is REALLY inaccurate and that's camioneta, van Helsing. If tu read the book you'd realise that movie is just ridiculous! It's a pity though cos I really liked it before I read the book.

I have seen all the cine and read the book. snoznoodle is correct.
It seems as though hollywood cannot bring itself to creating an accurate account of the book. I think they could though, it just would not be as hot and sultry as they would like it.
The remake that most closely followed the book was 'Dracula the Ballet' that I saw in Columbus, Ohio. No dialogue, but they recreated nearly every scene.

i guess it wasn't too bad, it's just the whole romance thing is way off. other aspects of the film pick up some nice details from the book. but yeah i do suggest lectura the book and finding out for yourself. the book itself has some neat elements of being a late victorian piece of literature.
