Tormented. Chapter 1 

  Spying a Red binding; My pale  fingers brushed against the side, examining the inscriptions. 
  "Vampires: True o Real?" I murmured. I opened up the book and rolled my eyes at the pathetic facts and examples they used. I slammed the book shut. 
 If only they knew there was a real, blood drinker in this exact life and universe. 
  I slipped it back into it's original place and smirked hugely at my, friend Max Lutz. She was the only one that knew my secret, and was Human. The only human I trusted. 
  "Let's go." She stiffled one más laugh. She sported a Black Veil Brides; concierto Tee with her favorito! pair of dark skinny jeans, along with her Bloody Red converse. Before I left I made sure to give the librarian a small wicked smile. 
  
 
 "That book is a bunch of bull," I stated. "I mean, seriously? We're not bloodsucking leeches who only care for humanblood. And, really? Silver bullets, along with little slabs of wood?" Max was silent. 
  "Well, tu did—sorta—bite me in the third grade.." She shot me a look and motioned to the small bite marks on her wrist. 
  "Yeah.. well... That was different." 
She nodded and looked forward. Her sneakers squeaking behind her. Okay. Yes, it's true I bit her In the third grade. But, that's because I was only eight. tu can't blame me; can you? I managed to rip away from her wrist just in time. 
    
  She rolled her Green eyes and pulled her chaqueta tighter to her body. 
  I think this is about the time; I have an introduction. 
 Hello, my name is  Jagger. I'm 18. Half vampire, half Human. My mother was human and my father was immortal. They died when I was only 7. I didn't know how and I didn't know when. All I knew is when I came inicial in my apparent Vampiric clothing they were gone faster than tu could say; Melinda and Jack. 
 Im currently living under the roof of my brother Peter. Well; until I actually make up the effort to get a job. 

 "Woa, check it out!" A girl about 17; pointed to the, Haunted House that was just opening up for Halloween. My favorito! time of the year—and my birthday. 
  Ths house was pretty scary. The house was an old Victorian. The windows had rusted blood and cobwebs pasted onto the sides. Figures shown inside. 
 I glanced at Max and saw no fear at all. Millions of other girls in the world; and I had to have the fearless punk. 
  Her eyes were covered in awe. It was like royalty was in front of her. 
   "We have to go." 
I scoffed,"Yeah.. Nu uh." I gave her a look. She once again rolled her eyes and smirked. "Jagger, I act más of a vampire then tu could ever be." I chuckled and placed my hand over my corazón dramatically. 
  "Im hurt." I gasped. Max laughed and told me to shutup. Her Pocket sent out a tune. "Knives and Pens." por the Black Veil Brides. 
  "Its, Henry. He's back in town." Max smile widely. 
 Henry was Max's boyfriend and my enemy. He was the popular guy at school. People wonder why he would fall for such an outcast. Even I wonder that. Sure, Max was pretty. Her long black hair traced her human features beautifully. Her green eyes sparkled everytime  I even took a glance at her. 
  "Great." I uttered. 
"Gotta run. He has a suprise for me." She pulled me into a hug and a small kiss on the cheek. Her Black lipstick printing against it. Heat rose to my cheeks. Yeah, as tu can tell I have a crush on my best friend. Who shouldn't be with some jock; who also picks on me.
  "Tell, Henry I dicho hi." I shouted as I watched her run off with my corazón being broken into million of pieces.
