Edward's POV
It was time for going to school. I don't know why I even had to go there, after all these years? I was truly getting tired of school, with all those girls staring at me like they haven't seen a boy o all the guys trying to get close to me so they can get girls they want!
Alice was sitting beside me in the car and she was wearing a stylish dress, like always!
"Let's go"
Alice dicho while she was fixing her hair in the mirror. I narrowed my eyes and started the car and without hesitation I drove to school. It was raining and the weather was great for a bunch of Vampires.
"Bye Edward!"
I realized Alice's voice as she was getting out of the car. I got my back pack and when I was up to walk to the school's main door I saw the eyes that were analyzing me.
We were in the math class when Mr.Johnson called Mike, Jessica and me. He wanted to pick us for the math team. Then he opened his mouth and said:
"Mr.Cullen, You'll be the captain of school's math team and Mike and Jessica will be your team mates. We'll have a competition on Tuesday! With St.John's school. As tu know, They're very weak in mathematics so... I think we'll win the champion ship this año too!"
We all nodded as we went to sit. I knew st.John's school very well. The students were all weak in mathematics and they couldn't even square a number!
Days went por until Tuesday. It was 9 when we got to st.John's school. we went to amphitheater where the competition was running. We got ready and after 5 minutos judges were at their seats and then st.John's team came. I could smell something unusually sweat and warm. I looked up, trying to control my thirst which was burning in my throat. I could see a girl, she was so pale and under her eyes were some dimples. I couldn't understand it. Then the first judge called me and that girl to step forward. Her name was Bella after all. I tried to read her mind, but there was nothing running in her mind o something. It was hollow... She had her face hardened like me. She was looking with a confused expression at me and I couldn't help but looking at her. Judges announced the problem we had to solve. It wasn't a hard one. I started escritura the answer on the board, trying not to breathe to have her smell again in my nose.
Bella's POV
As the judge called me and that strange boy's name, I stepped forward. His name was Edward. The segundo judge told us the problem we had to solve and we started. he wasn't breathing, I could tell. He was escritura the answer so quickly. I tried to speed up and finally we finished together. I wasn't really happy that we had tied, I went to stand near him. He sniffed and looked at me with his golden eyes. I knew we were alike. Not exactly! I was a half vampire and he was a complete one.
I used my power to talk to him in mind.
"What's up?"
He looked horrified once I had dicho that!
"What?!"
I repeated the words in his mind.
"I SAID, What's up?!"
The results were announced and our team was the winner. He looked down and then when we got out of the theater, he suddenly came siguiente to me and said:
"Can I talk to you?"
I winked at Angela and went near him.
"How did tu do THAT?"
