Out of these options... I'd say they're "cute", "fun", & "sexy". Their story had too much of an effect on the show's storylines, other characters, and their own characters to call them "pointless". I don't think they ever went through anything tragic, or significant enough to call them "epic". They had maybe a couple cheesy moments here and there... but not nearly enough to be defined as "cheesy".

And I certainly never thought of them as "meant to be". But even if you did see them as meant to be at one time, I think that term for them died out pretty quickly. The possibility of them living up to that definition was there for a few episodes, maybe... but that's it. Any chances that they had of being "meant to be", they quickly ruined, with all their dysfunction. lol IMO, anyway.

Definitely not pointless. Even though I'm an LP'er I can't say their pointless. They're the cute/fun/sexy couple.

Definitely not meant to be imo. I mean even when they were together Lucas was still putting Peyton ahead of Brooke. Brooke needed a guy that gave her his heart. And Lucas didn't give her his heart.
