Hate them

I hate them! They have no history, their first kiss was boring, they have no chemistry, oh and I agree with escada THEY'RE NOT A COUPLE.

You hate them because you think they're boring and don't have chemistry? Lol. Solid reasons to hate a couple who, as you said, aren't actually even a couple.

Gracery, considering they are just a fictional couple, there really is no need to have a legitimate reason to hate them. I could hate them simply because I'm a Chair shipper. So, you bitching about people not having an actual reason to not like them, just makes you look like an idiot.

Secondly, I have many, many reasons to hate Dan and Blair.
Some of them being that Leighton and Penn have little to no chemistry. They work good as enemies, but once they start being nice to each other I get major second hand embarrassment. I actually liked Blair and Dan before DB, now I despise them. Even their friendship completely ruins both of their characters. They had to completely rewrite history to make them work, because before 4x10 both of them hated and had no interest in each other. They are unbelievably boring. I don't care if they are 'healthy' or whatever, they aren't interesting. I don't watch TV to see couples that are okay in a realistic standard, I watch to be entertained.

Just because I don't make shit up about Dan being misogynistic or abusive, doesn't mean I don't have a reason.

I agree with C. Also, I hate how the show had to be turned upside down to force this innately inorganic pairing into an "organic" one. Dan and Blair had to be isolated into this romantic comedy world of hell, while Chuck and Serena were forced into stories with pointless guest stars while simultaneously being portrayed as villains so everyone would pity the poor defenseless DB. Sorry, I hate being manipulated, and I saw that's what the writers were doing. They were manipulating the audience to root against Chuck (and Serena, to a lesser extent) for the time being so they could "stop and explore" before the eventual endgame, and they thought they could bring all the former Chair fans back with things like the finale.

Also, sorry if I don't want to watch a show about people discussing movies and books while fighting over staplers. Some might find that scintillating, but not me.

But my main point, gracery, is this: what were you hoping to gain from asking us this question? I know my response won't cause you to change your opinion- just like you explaining to me how Chuck is an abuser won't change my opinion. So why did you bother asking this question? I have no obligation to justify myself to you. Especially over something as inconsequential as a TV show.

I do think it's a great idea to put Dan and Blair together. I admit that I love to see them hate each other, but they're not an horrible option. I'm definitely for a DS and CB ending.
