Chapter 25
    It’s time to get romantic!
I couldn’t stop the blushes that came each time I saw Ryler, just a little rosado, rosa in the cheek making me look lovelier, I hoped. As the days went on Ryler and I started to hang out more, and it was like heaven. I didn’t think about anything else when it came to him, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Hey,” I say as I smile at Ryler when I enter my house after an awesome día of school. “Where’s Adam?”
Ryler chuckled. “Hey to tu to, he had business to deal with back at college,” he rolled his eyes. “School work wise.”
    I nodded. “My folks here?”
Ryler raised his eyebrows. “Actually your mom made a last minuto call for a romantic dinner, and she winked at me. Any idea why?”
I blushed a little. “Guess it’s just tu and me then.”
“Yep, and I had to cook so don’t tu dare make rude remarks,” he warned.
I laughed. “Your such a noob.”
Ryler shrugged. “I was mothered a lot, oso, oso de with me.”
    “Okay, I’m going to change.”
“Don’t take forever o you’ll food’ll get cold!” Ryler yelled after me as I bounded up the steps.
Okay so maybe I dressed a little two nicely, wearing camo pants and a cute blouse, but this was cena with me and Ryler, no Jones’s talk, o Adam’s burping, just me and Ryler.
“Thank you,” I dicho as Ryler held out his asiento for me. “Who knew you’d be such a gentlemen.”
I was pleased to see Ryler’s cheeks pinken a little. “Fill comida with mouth, young girl.”
Pleasurable silence ensued as I tasted the food, which was quite delicious. I smiled. “This is really good, Ryler, tu should take up cooking as a hobby.”
    “Oh, really?” Ryler grinned.
I nodded. “Yep, mom should put tu on cooking duty from now on.”
Ryler laughed. “Wouldn’t want to burn the house down.”
I grinned. “Too late, Adam already did.”
“Seriously?!” Ryler laughed harder. “Adam…who knew? Funny isn’t it? He;s such a stud in class.”
    I widened my eyes. “Really?”
Ryler nodded. “Those guys that visited? There the real deal, college material man. Super smart, and super cool. There like the teacher’s for cool, if your approved your fine.”
“Wow,” I say. “You’d think the stupid high school tradition would stop, but now everything’s just so high school. Mean girl’s-”
    “Great movie,” he interjected.
“-Cool guys, losers, teasing, fights, and blah.” I continued. “When will it ever end?”
Ryler shrugged. “Can I be honest with you?”
    My corazón pounded. “Yes.”
Ryler looked embarrassed. “I’m actually a bit…scared. I know it’s stupid, but the thought of leaving school, becoming unprotected and being out on your own. The thought scares me.”
    “What about your friends?”
Ryler shrugs. “I don’t think we’d end up living anywhere close, and have of them are such jerks, they’d let tu pay there way out of it, but when tu need money there gone. And Adam? I hope we don’t lose contact, I’d be losing a lot of awesome things I love.”
I smiled. “Your not losing us, our door is always open for you. Tell tu what? We could visit each other.”
    Ryler smiles. “I’d like that.”
Were smiling at each other, and I realize how close we are. My corazón picks up speed.
“Can I say something else?” Ryler asks.
I nod, not trusting my voice.
Ryler puts a lock of hair behind my ear. “I’d always found tu interesting, and your pretty awesome. Is this okay?”
I nod, and his hand stays por my cheek.
    “I was wondering…you wanna…I don’t know…hang out sometime?”
I nod vigorously. “Sounds great.” My voice is a bit hoarse.
Ryler smiles devilishly. “I take it tu want me to kiss you?”
    I nod. “Please?”
Ryler grins. “Since tu dicho please…”
He leans down closer and I meet him halfway, our lips collide together and everything’s just…perfect.

Well, this is a song I wrote.

I've heard it wrong
There's been a mistake
There was a time when I won and I knew it

We will go on and on and on and on
There will be no más mistakes
For the future
We will fight through it all without complaint

We are the winners, my friend
And we'll fight through it all in the end
There's no time to lose it
Cuz we are the winners

Well, I know that it's been a great day
We've done it all
We've been the best we can be and tu know it
We are the winners, my friend.

Chapter Eight: Hello, Stranger Please Don't Betray Me

The guy stood in front of us. We needed to give him answer and fast. He was a spy and he probably knew más then he was letting on. This make sit hard to trust him. Courtney immediately dicho yes. I gave her a glare and shrugged. Raven was nodding her head as while. It made me think. Were they up to something? Did they know the guy? They could have known him because he goes here for school. Actually, he seemed much older then the rest of us. He had boyish features but he certainly was someone who looks much older then 18.

This a short poem I came up with. I'm not a descriptive person. I prefer just simple words in poems. This deals with the term, "Looking behind the smile." This is inspired por a friend and mine's life experiences. Enjoy :)

Gone: a poem

She sat alone
in the corner of the room.
She didn't speak
she would merely loom.
Like she was a shadow
an invisible ghost.
No one gave
a damn at the most.

She would sit there
and simply stare
looking at those
who ignored her.
No one looked
at her twice
no one bothered
when she was nice.

She was a nobody,
forgotten por all.
Her ever-blank stares
directed at the bare, empty wall....
