Thoes were the words my foster mom, Molly, told me as I got on the plane.
Now, sience I'm 17, I can visit France and see my childhood. I miss it terribly.
I looked at the crumbled Skittels wrapper in my hand, and the cup of water which seemed to be trembling. Noah was just looking out the window, bored. He had just finished his book.
They were mostrando the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." I amor that movie, but I had a giant headache and pressured ears.
"We will be landing in about 2 minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts."The pilot dicho with his heavy French accent, which really pissed me off.
"Noah?"
He ignored me, so I pushed him.
"Noaahh???"
"Yeah, I heard."
After giving our trash to the flight attendant and fastening our seatbelts, we just looked out the window.
Noah held my hand. I smiled as we landed in the cold, snowy airport.
"Is your grandma picking us up?"
"Mhm. I haven't seen her in,like,5 whole years! I wonder what she looks like..."
"What about your grandpa?"
"He died of old age about a año ago."
"Oh..."
I squeezed Noah's hand from nervousness as the plane made a smooth landing on the well-paved runway. The césped, hierba was frosty. I was shaking, nervously, like I was rolling around in the frost.
I felt the wheels roll out of the plane as it made it's grand entrance onto the runway. I squeezed Noah's hand the closer we got.
"Welcome to Paris, France. We are landing in the Paris Charles de Gualle Internatinoal Airport. The time right now is 8:01 p.m. The temprature is 41 degrees farenhight. Thank tu for flying with us, and we hope tu come back soon!"
I got my kitty back pack, and Noah got his travel bag, and we walked out. I let go of his hand to hang on to the straps of the backpack. I felt pure exitment as I stepped out of the plane. I was smiling. Every step I took got me más and más exited. I smiled greatly as I got out of the gate.
"So, this is it!"
"Allons-nous continuer,mademoiselle?"
I laughed at Noah's joke, and we went on.
We went through the magnificent gate, and I looked around in awe. Restraunts, boutiques, nicnacs, souvinears... this airport had everything! I started to feel like a kid again.
"Can we stop por the bookstore?"
I pulled Noah's arm, laughing. "Later Noah, Later!"
We both laughed, as I saw a framiliar wrinkly woman in a light blue dress, and a very tall girl who looked about my age, with an aphro.
"Grandma!"
I went and gave her a big hug.
"Dawnkale! Oh, how I've missed you!"
"Hey!"
"Margrette!"
Margrette was my best friend in childhood times. I still keep in touch with her.
"It's so nice to see tu all! I missed you!"
"And who is this young boy?"
Grandma pinched Noah's cheek.
"Oh! I've heard of him from Total Drama Action! He's Noah!"
"Yes indeedy!"
"Hey... tu must be Dawn's friend?"
"Yes I am!"
"Dawnkale, is he your boyfriend?"
"Mhm!"
"How lovley! I knew your boyfriend would be so cute!"
We chatted a little, got the luggage, and Margrette drove us all the way to Grandma's house.
