"Don’t wander off too far, gremlins! And stay together!"
The two children giggled as they began to run off. “Here, Anthony, take my hand!” the girl orders as her brother loyally latches on to her outreached hand. They being to run down the path, their laughter echoing off the muro at their side.
They stay behind, watching their children run freely, and she can’t help but to smile. He looks to her and, upon seeing her face, takes her hand and smiles as well. “We got a couple of cute kids, don’t we sweetcheeks?”
She laughs for a moment before leaning against his side as they continue to walk, hand intertwined. “Yes, Tony, they are very adorable.”
"Thank god they get along," he added, watching the children as they began to chase one another a little farther down the path. "I think the two-year age difference really gave them a good zone, ya know? Not so different that they can’t get along, but not so close that they envy the attention of the other." He turns to his wife, his smile now growing. "We got lucky with these two."
"That we did," she answers, seeing that their children have now discovered their amor of racing to the muro as fast as they can.
"You think they’re gonna get hurt?" Tony chimes in. "They’re moving pretty-"
"Tony," she says, stopping as she speaks, a frown line forming above her brow.
He looks to her, confusion on his face. “What? Ziva, is something wrong?”
She shakes her head at his worry. “No, no nothing is wrong. I just-” she pauses. “You mentioned their age difference, yes?”
"Yeah…" he answers, his face continuing to contort in confusion.
"Well, instead of a two-year difference," she takes a breath,"what would tu say about a three-year age difference?"
The pregunta takes him por surprise, and he doesn’t know how to answer. “Um, I don’t know. I guess it’d be alright? Why are tu even-“
He freezes.
Slowly, his eyes widen in realization as he looks over to her, and her smile begins to reappear as he makes sense of the conversation. “No…” he says in disbelief.
"Yes," she replies.
"You’re-" he steps in front of her. "Ziva- you’re pregnant?"
Her smile widens at his question. “Yes Tony, I am.”
"Again?" he asks with nervous excitement.
"Again."
For a moment, they simply look at one another. Then suddenly, he trades her hands for her waist and pulls her to him, and she giggles as she reaches up on her toes to answer the kiss that he claims from her. It’s short, but full of passion, and when he pulls back, his face is completely lit up with joy. “I amor you,” he simply states.
She moves a hand to cup his face and smiles softly in reply. ‘I amor you, too.”
After another moment of lingering looks, he drops his hands and begins to turns around, whispering to her as he does. “I think this is cause for celebration, don’t you?”, he asks and he faces the area where his kids are playing.
“Hey! Anthony! Debbie!” he calls out. “You guys wanna go get some ice cream?”
"Yes!" their daughter squeals with joy as she jumps in the in air to emphasize her happiness. Their son on the other hand, pumps both his fists in the air with a serious face "ICE! CREAM!" he shouts.
They laugh at their children’s silly actions and watch as they begin to run back towards them. The girl goes to the boy’s side and once again, and puts her hand out in support. “C’mon, Anthony, hold my hand!”
He takes it obediently and with a smile, and as they run, they can’t help but giggle with excitement at the prospect of a delicious treat.
He watches them, knowing their smiles soften the hard edges of his eyes, and make his lips curl up in an overexcited smile.
"Three año difference?" he says to his wife as he continues to watch the children."I think we can handle it."

Just a small Tiva poem I wrote in five minutes, hope tu enjoy it! :)
Stuck in Stationary
tu break my spirit,
We build then we break,
Sick of the games,
It's time to explain.
We've come this close
to what I think could be
something real.
tu run and I hide,
We're falling behind,
It's time to catch up,
To where we're meant to be.
Stuck in stationary,
Both pushing forward,
But we're still the same,
Time to try harder.
tu say life was meaningless,
My mind's blown, I'm speechless,
Things are looking up,
Don't wanna leave this to just dumb luck.
Time to make a move,
For things to improve,
Why can't tu see,
What everyone believes?
I'm ready to say,
the things I've been scared to,
worried the words won't come,
Should I tell you?
tu found out,
I'm glad,
tu amor me too,
Now I'm not sad.
