Ike POV
I couldn't get to Alfea fast enough. When I heard about the train accident, I couldn't contain myself long enough to wait until after the other guys got back, so I just left. I ran inside and looked around.
"They're in room 217" Nurse Ofelia said. I nodded and rushed into the room, breathing a sigh of relief when I saw Autumn sitting down, some crutches leaning against the muro siguiente to her, her entire leg, knee down, in a cast, and stitches on the side of her head.
"Hey, are tu alright?" I asked, sitting siguiente to her. She looked so fragile, as if she would snap if I wasn't gentle, so I didn't envolver, abrigo my arms around her like I wanted so badly to.
"Yeah." She said, her voice weak and shaky. "Julien and Helia haven't woken up yet. I'm scared for them, Ike. What if they don't make it?"
"Can I see them?"
"Go ahead. The girls are in there, but I couldn't oso, oso de staying in there for too long." She said. She had dark circles under her eyes, and she looked broken and lifeless. Helia and Julien would be even worse, and I don't know if I could take it.
"I'll only be a second." I said, not wanting to leave her alone for too long. I slowly walked through the double doors and down a hallway until I found room 217. I pushed the door open to see the girls all there comforting a sobbing Flora. I felt sorry for her, she was in a worse position than I was, and gave her a quick hug before finally turning to look at Helia and Julien. They didn't look good, not at all. Julien's teasing smile was long gone, and Helia's kind one looked as if we would never see it again. They just looked blank. I remembered that Autumn was out there alone, and I turned around, glad for an excuse to leave.
Autumn POV
I sat there trying to mover as little as possible. Even blinking my eyes was agonizing. Mentally kicking myself, I was ashamed of being so selfish. Helia and Julien are practically in a coma, and I was sitting here awake and well. At least I can still mover around and communicate. But without them, I'm not sure I want to. I sigh just as the door leading to the entrance opens and all of the guys walk in.
"Holy hell Autumn, tu look terrible." Riven said, and I forced a smile and gave a fake, unenthusiastic laugh. Brandon elbowed him and looked around.
"Where is everyone?" I pointed down the hall, and they left, right as Ike walked in.
"They don't look so good. But I don't think they're gonna die o anything." Ike dicho hopefully. I just shrugged. Somehow attempting to stand, I winced and grabbed my crutches, going out the doors.
"Where are tu going?" Ike asked.
"I don't know, I just want to get as far from there as possible. I want to figure out what the hell that was that attacked the train."
"Something attacked it? I thought tu guys just had an accident."
"I don't think the train would have división, split in two and flipped a mile away from the tracks if it was 'just an accident'. I know it was attacked, I know it."
"Okay, okay I believe you. But what do tu think could have done it?" He asked. I sighed. We were approaching the front doors of Alfea, but I was fine with that. I wanted to get out of here, get some fresh air.
"I don't know. Whatever did it has the power to manipulate electricity o controls, and make them do as he o she pleases. I've never heard of anything like that."
Ike looked thoughtful as he frowned at the ground.
"I have." He said. I raised my eyebrows, hating the way it pulled at my stitches. "I had an older brother, and he was used to be a really good person, up until about my freshman año of high school. He was a junior, and he started going along with the crowd, doing drugs, so my parents disowned him. There was some huge fight about it, and my brother got so mad, he wanted to take me with him. My parents argued and, since my dad and brother were wizards, the spells started coming out. All I remember is that it lead to my dad being confined to a wheelchair for life and my brother having this scar across the left side of his face. He kept trying to get me to go with him to wherever it was he was going, but I refused. To be honest, he kind of scared me, and I didn't want to have to live in fear of him. He never forgave me for that, and I haven't seen him since. I remember his last words to me, 'I'll make tu pay for this, one day.'" His voice was shaking, and I hugged him the best I could with these stupid crutches.
"We have to find him. Ike please help me do this." I pleaded, looking into his mesmerizing eyes. Finally he nodded, and I hugged him again.
"Let's go catch us a wizard."
