I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Season 6 of The Walking Dead is about to begin and look at how far the characters have come | moviepilot.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
With Season 6 About to Begin Check Out How Far Rick and the Gang Have Come Since the Zombie Apocalypse Began in \'The Walking Dead\'
The Walking Dead will finally begin, and our hunger for ass kicking and zombie killing will once again be sated. Over the last five seasons we\'ve joined Rick and the gang on some serious adventures, seen a group of people grow, decline and grow again, and generally watched the world be reclaimed by mother nature and her army of the undead.
Throughout it all this rag-tag group have almost literally been to hell and back, and as Redditor VirulentViper has proved, in some cases you can see it written all over their faces. Take a look at the cast promo shots through the seasons and tell me in the comments which character you think has changed the most:
Whoa. From \'Officer friendly\' to the Ricktatorship in just a few quick seasons. It\'s big step from Season 2 to Season 3 for Rick, and he just kept getting darker all the way through Season 5. In the Season 6 photo he\'s lost the beard, and with Morgan being reintroduced with his new philosophy on life, perhaps we\'ll see Rick cool his ruthless philosophy a little - time will tell.
From annoying little kid who wouldn\'t stay in the house to full fledged bad-ass, Carl Grimes has really grown, not only physically but mentally as well. Carl has gone through more shit than any kid really should (I mean, he had to shoot his own mother!), but he\'s come through it all and still managed to keep a pretty level head on his shoulders. I look forward to seeing what\'s in store for Carl in Season 6.
It may have taken Glenn six seasons to grow a mustache, but he\'s certainly grown in other ways. When we first met Glenn Rhee, who would have guessed that out of all the Season 1 characters he would last the distance? I mean he was a pizza boy, for crying out loud! But as we\'ve learned, it doesn\'t matter who you were before the apocalypse, all that matters is who you are now.
Another character that has been with us for the entire run of the show, and another character who I expected to be eaten within the first season. Instead Carol has become one of the strongest members of the group, always willing to do what needs to be done, even if that means something horrible. Much like Rick there is was a big difference between Season 2 Carol and Season 3 Carol, but it\'s Season 6 Carol that intrigues me the most. Upon reaching Alexandria she immediately put on an act, tricking the residents into thinking she was nothing but a cookie-baking housewife. Keep watching her folks, those floral sweaters are definitely hiding something and the real Carol will come out sooner or later.
Daryl Dixon, the redneck bow-slinger the group could depend on. While Daryl\'s hair has gotten out of control (seriously, please give it a trim this season!), not much has physically really changed with him. Mentally however, we\'ve seen him take steps, especially over the last season to heal from his turbulent childhood and make positive changes. His new friendship with Aaron in Alexandria has given him a new substitute family (along with Carol), and it\'ll be interesting to see if Daryl softens a little in Season 6.
After losing her entire family except for Glenn, the old Maggie we met back in Season 2 is pretty much dead and gone. In Season 5 we saw her take on an almost political role in Alexandria, working with Deanna, so is she being prepped for a leadership role in the future? She\'s certainly more than capable at taking on the task.
One of the strongest members of the group, Michonne never lets the side down. From Season 2 when she looked after a sick Andrea all winter, so Season 5 when she time after time put the needs of the group first - eventually becoming a constable with Rick once they reached Alexandria. In the Season 6 promo shot it looks as though Michonne looks slightly scared or worried , here\'s hoping nothing happens to our favorite katana wielder in the future.
There\'s no doubt that the mysterious Morgan has changed considerably since his days in Season 1 and especially in Season 3. Season 5 Morgan was on a mission and has a totally new philosophy on how to live in this new world. But how will he cope with life in Alexandria in Season 6? Will he stick about for long, or is his visit a short one once he sees how things are handled? I can\'t wait to find out.
Much like Maggie, following Tyreese\'s death, Sasha also has no blood-related family left, and that seems to have hardened her and turned her into a blood thirsty walker-killer. Last season Sasha was a lone ranger, eventually being forced to come back inside the gates of Alexandria to rest. Will she continue on this quite self-destructive path, or has she been shaken awake by the other members of the group?
Another group member with family dead and gone, Tara has matured since she joined the group thanks to Glenn taking pity on her in Season 4. She has proved her worth recently, and become not only a capable member, but also one who adds light moments to dark situations with her positive attitude and witty remarks. After her serious injury in Season 5, we only saw Tara open her eyes in the dying moments of the Season 5 finale, though hopefully she lives to see many more days in Season 6 and her journey with Rick and the group continues.
Hard man, Sergeant Abraham Ford had a bit of a journey in Season 5. After being on the brink of suicide earlier on in the apocalypse, it was meeting Eugene and believing he had the cure that was keeping his mind busy. After learning Eugene was lying the entire time, Abraham was sent into a bit of a tail spin trying to decide what to do next. Thankfully he carried on and has now totally made his mark in Alexandria, definitely a good man to have at your side.
I can\'t really say that I\'ve noticed too much of a change in Rosita since she was first introduced. She\'s still a bit of an enigma, though she can always be depended on. I personally hope she sticks around for a bit longer, and we get to see a bit more of what makes her tick.
From chronic liar, to man trying to overcome his cowardice. Eugene has certainly hardened up since we first met him in Season 4. Will we get to see Eugene grow his skills even more in Season 6? Only time will tell.
