In between photobombing Ashley Roberts and casually touring the US of A, The Vamps have been teasing the lead single off of their new album and it\'s all very exciting.

After revealing that their second studio record is pretty much done (agh) and has a totally different sound (also agh) to previous music they\'ve produced, the lads have now been teasing all sorts of details about their new single and what we can expect.

We haven\'t even told you what they said yet and we think we need a lie down.

Chatting to Capital FM, Tristan Evans revealed that they\'ve made great progress with the album, and went on to tease an itty bitty little detail about the first track.

He commented: "It\'s almost finished. Our first single begins with a W.. and ends with a Z. That\'s an exclusive right there.

James McVey also added that the lads are really happy with the new style of their music and that they really wanted to try something new.

Speaking to Fabulous mag, he continued: "It\'s nearly there. The first album was quite acoustic and folk-driven. This one is more synthy, like MGMT. We\'re happy with the style and trying somrthing new, but it\'s scary to see if everyone likes it."
