The siguiente morning
Caroline arrived in the kitchen, where the breakfast mesa, tabla was set. Liz was making some coffee and it seemed as if she tried to avoid looking at her daughter.
“Mom?” Caroline said, sensing something was wrong. Liz didn’t react, but pretended to be busy. “Mom, what’s going on?”
“You want some coffee?” Liz asked, avoiding the question. Caroline got up and walked towards her mother. “Mom, what’s wrong? Why are tu actuación like this?”
Liz turned around and leaned against the sink. “I’ve been having flashes”
“Flashes of what?” Caroline asked.
“Of things I thought I forgot” Liz said. “Things I suppressed, forced myself to forget”
“Or someone else made you” Caroline said. She remembered the talk with Tyler. “What about your mother?” Tyler asked. “Doesn’t she wonder where tu are?”
“I guess she’s compelled” Caroline dicho soft.
“You were never with your father, were you?” Liz asked trembling. Caroline shook her head and broke down. Liz held her in her arms and caressed her hair as they both cried. “I should’ve known. I should’ve made sure. I should’ve called your dad”
“Mom, no, it’s not your fault. tu were being compelled” Caroline said. Liz let go. “Stefan came to the house and I didn’t want him to come in, but he was already invited in. And when he came in he compelled me to let Amber in. I recognized her from the WANTED poster. She compelled me to think tu were with your dad and that tu would come back por the end of the summer”
“She’s dead, mom” Caroline said. “She can’t hurt tu anymore”

“Bonnie?” Damon shouted. “Bonnie, where are you? Get back here!” But when nothing happened he understood he had to do this himself. He looked up at the chains and started pulling with all his strength. It hurt immensely, but he couldn’t stop. If this pain was necessary to be with Elena, he would go through it.
After a few minutes, that felt like hours, his right hand was liberated. Without hesitating he pulled his left arm and this time it took less time to free himself.
Then everything went black.
Damon opened his eyes and found himself outside on the spot where Bonnies house used to be. He looked at his arms. They had healed. He scribbled up and looked around. He felt different, like he’d been born again. Elena. He had to see Elena. And so he started walking in the direction of the Boarding House. He could sense she was there.

Tyler opened his eyes and gasped for air. The night was slowly giving in to the día and Tyler was still tied onto that chair.
“Good morning, sunshine” Klaus said, who was sitting in front of him in Indian style. He had a small flask in his left hand. “I hope you’re hungry”
“Can’t tu just let me go already?” Tyler said, who was having trouble breathing. Blood came streaming from his eyes. What was wrong?
“I can’t let tu go” Klaus said. “Not before tu had breakfast” He continued, waving the flask. He scribbled up and opened the flask.
Tyler pressed his lips together, but Klaus easily separated them and poured the blood that was in the flask into his mouth.
“Now tu won’t be so eager to run off, now will you?” Klaus dicho as he untied Tyler.
