According to Ian Somerhalder (Damon), things are gonna get really... big when the show returns from its mid season hiatus in January.

We found out last week that Ian was filming a scene in the buff (in the bathtub, with a glass of wine) — but much to our dismay, nobody from TVD was revealing more than that.

In a recent interview with Zap2it, Ian (ahem) comes clean about the scene and what we can expect to see. Viewers will finally get to a glimpse inside Damon’s bedroom and bathroom for the first time come January — and the decor is, like Damon’s ego, larger-than-life.

“There's big everything in there," he teases. "It's awesome." (We’re trying to get our minds out of the gutter here...but that’s just too much.)

But the apartment isn’t all we’ll get to see. Ian tells Zap2It he spent four hours filming the Damon bathtub scene in, yes, “his birthday suit.” And he loved it. “It’s been amazing,” he gushes.

Ah — the suspense is killing us! But since TVD doesn’t return until January 27, we’ll just have to spend our time catching up on old episodes and fantasizing about Damon’s large, um, bathtub. Yeah.
