That was surprising I think it's the moment I could definitely say: There nothing of the books left in this show!!!
Seriously I think I love the show and now I can seperate it with my vision of the books, now I think it's just the adaption of the concept but not the books.

Well....I knew Elena had to be related to Catherine some how so I guess her being adopted wasn't too big of a stretch.

I was actually suprised by this though. And...despite my love for Damon, I'll be totally with Alarick if he wants to kill him! I mean seriously, I have no idea how Elena managed to talk Lexi's boyfriend out of killing Damon - no way would that fucked up logic have worked on me!

I mean I was expecting him to do sth like any one!! defending his wife!! but he was really calm at that time..!
