Just yesterday, we brought tu the news that a character on the mostrar was getting axed, but today we're getting word that another one is set to registrarse the cast—and we've got a feeling, she's going to be trouble!
Zap2It is reporting that Lauren Cohan ("Supernatural") has been cast as Rose, a "tough, sexy" vampire who will likely catch Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) eye (we feel your pain Dalena fans, but it's about time the guy got a legit amor interest!).
That's not all though; the site also reports that Rose, who is over 500 years old and apparently very "elegant," will make her first appearance in episode eight, which is simply titled "Rose" (we're guessing that episode will be filled with más thorns than petals). Zap2It's fuente had this juicy tidbit to offer about the new gal in town: "Maybe there's some humanity left in her—have fun finding it." Could Damon have finally met his match?

He shits on Elena after she becomes a vampire and made her feel like a broken toy because he couldn’t amor her as a vampire.
He slut shames her for sleeping with Damon and used that as the reason for their breakup.
He declared that she didn’t know what he was like when he was not in amor with her.
He wanted to have every memory of Elena erased.
He acted like Damon had no part in Elena’s life after Elena chose him again.
He treated her oh, so well last season and this season that it was a complete shock that she had feelings for Damon.
And now, being the wonderful and PERFECT man that he is, he might- just might- come down off of his Holy trono and stoop down to take Elena back if she comes crawling back to him after everything she has done to him. How is he even thinking about the possibility of Elena going back to him, let alone deciding if he’ll take her back?
