Once again a Vampire Diaries episode has left the fandom shocked, excited and let's face it.... a little mind blown. A mostrar with so many twists and turns is bound to have that effect. But what is important to remember is, Don't Judge So Quickly.
The cause of much of the drama and commotion we've been left with is of course the series long, fandom dividing amor triángulo, triángulo de between Damon/Elena/Stefan.
Delena fans rejoice at the scenes between Damon and Elena. FINALLY there were some feelings, some emotion, some confrontations, forgiveness, understanding, bonding and the twitter exploding, trending for 16 hours, KISS.
So while Delena fans are screaming, cheering, little bit of crying and squeeing so hard they've strained something, Stelena fans are left going WTF!
Now before all ships go and gear up for war, I think everyone just needs to slow down and realise.... The Vampire Diaries is never what is seems and this is why tu can't judge this one episode so quickly.
Now I'm a Delena fan and am positively bursting with happiness with the development that Delena had in the finale. Do I think it is the start of Elena realising her feelings for Damon and Delena having to sort through that? YES!
Do I think now that Elena is going to run off, denounce Stefan and marry Damon? NO (sadly...).
It is a series long triángulo, triángulo de guys. And I really don't think it's fair to begrudge Delena fans one little kiss seeing as in the scheme of things there were 2 seasons of unreciprocated feelings.
It is about time the trinagle got going and wasn't so unbashedly one sided.
Now, that being dicho this is most definately NOT the end of Stelena (again for me, sadly lol). To all the worried Stelena fans, do tu really think Elena is just going to be okay with Stefan being on a blood high and slaughtering people/villages (wow stefan. villages? dang.) for Klaus?
Of course not.
That is not who Elena is and no doubt she will enlist everyone to try and help her bring Stefan back and save him.
Will Delena bond during this? I personally hope so and it is likely if the writers are taking this leaf from the books.
But there is no doubt in my mind that Elena will feel guilt over besar Damon while with Stefan and Damon too will feel guilt that his brother did this for him, after Damon had treated him harshly throughout much of their relationship and therefore the two will band together to get Stefan back, rather than go about shopping for his and hers matching bathrobes together instead.
1.) THE DEFENDING OF DAMON.
I've seen numerous accusations thrown around that are really unfair on Damon.
Damon is so selfish and a horrible brother, Damon shouldn't be besar Elena while his brother is saving him. Damon is whinging and pathetic.
To these I say: HOLD UP.
Damon has his selfish moments. But on a whole Damon has become much más unselfish over season 2 thanks to him finding his humanity and falling in amor with Elena.
Damon's dying wish was to gain Elena's forgiveness for hurting her and feeding her is blood. He actively went and sought this from her and when she wasnt prepared to give it to him, he told her to take as much time as she needed, KNOWING that he had no time left.
He ACTIVELY told Stefan NOT to tell Elena as he didn't want her to feel obliged o guilted into it o to suffer anymore than she already had. -All of which is incrediably UNSELFISH of him.
Damon wasnt whinging o pathetic. He was dying and slow and horrible death and was reliving the mistakes that haunted him. Cut the guy some slack.
As for him being ungrateful to Stefan. Damon didn't kiss Elena. She kissed him. Honestly Damon looked stoked just to have Elena forgiving him. He was satisfied with that. Elena kissed Damon.
Secondly, Damon didn't know what was happening to Stefan.
He knew he had gone to Klaus, but Damon believed there was no cure, so how would he know that Stefan would do what he did to gain one?
And simply put, the guy was so far out of it.
2.) THE SAVING OF STEFAN
Stefan isnt screwed guys.
Elena is going to come for him. She's not going to instantly forget her amor for him (Why not Elena? Oops bias lol).
Damon isnt going to take what his brother did lightly. He is going to want to save him especially after everything Stefan did for him.
Elena loves Stefan. And sadly Damon knows this ("I know tu amor Stefan and it's always going to be Stefan...")
And so while Damon and Elena will bond and their feelings grow, their amor for Stefan probably will too as they fear losing him forever.
As much as I wish it weren't true, Stelena are not out of this fight. In fact this might be what they need to strengthen a bit.
Delena vs Stelena will be a theme of season 3 I feel. Prepare now lol.
3.) THE EVOLVING OF ELENA.
Elena stated she didn't really know what amor is (2x20). I have a feeling Elena is about to find out when she becomes torn between her amor for Stefan and her growing feelings of amor for Damon.
She is in amor with Stefan and she loves Damon. Could she possibly end up being IN amor with both?
It is unfair to call Elena a whore for besar Damon.
To me 'whore' is defined as someone who sleeps around casually and randomly with A LOT of people.
Elena kissed someone she cares very deeply about and IMO loves. She kissed him because she was losing him and because all of a sudden she realised just how much Damon meant to her.
Elena is 17. To amor two people and almost lose one would be confusing and corazón breaking. She went with her emotions. It doesnt diminish what she feels for Stefan. It just shows how she feels for Damon.
And sadly I think she won't be eager to kiss him again straight away (good news for Stelena fans I guess?) because she will feel guilty and confused and of course her and Damon's main priority will be to save Stefan.
And for those few fans saying she is awful for being with Damon while Stefan was off getting his junkie on- ELENA DID NOT KNOW.
Stefan told Elena to help Damon. To look after him and be there for him. And she did.

Elena was going to realise her feelings sooner o later and what separates her from Katherine is that Elena loves both brother but she doesnt want to play with them and string them along. She cares for real about their feelings. Whereas Katherine really only seemed to care for Stefan and loved how Damon treated her.
SO to envolver, abrigo up a very long article- back off Elena, Damon and Stefan guys. Each character has a reason and a path and none of them can be condemned. It wasnt a black and white situation.
And have tu all read the books? Because in them there is a triangle. Where Elena is with Stefan but falls in amor with Damon too. That's what the mostrar is creating.
So Delena fans be prepared to see an evolving passionate up and down relationship and not Delena picking out china patterns.
And Stelena fans- brace yourself for Elena's realisation of her feelings for Damon but also rejoice in that fact that Stelena's relationship will still be a priority and that Elena is still currently in amor Stefan.
