el fantasma de la ópera Pregunta

What is the worst Version of POTO tu have seen and why?

The one that comes to mind is the one with Julian Sands, the whole movie was horrible but what makes it worse is that the phantom in this one isn't even disfigured at all,but if tu seen worse please tell me.

Well… basically, tu have the original ALW musical, only, the characterizations are changed. Every redeeming quality the Phantom had is shoved away: in the first unmasking, Christine wakes up, and pats him on the shoulder instead of unmasking him. The thing is, he’s busy washing his face, and he becomes all violent and grabs her por the hair while, sheesh, it isn’t her fault. And furthermore, in the Final Lair, there’s a part where he gets so pissed off he actually seizes her and flings her on his cama in a way it reminds me way too much of sexual assault. Christine is really passive and weak-willed, and the way she respuestas to the Phantom’s abuse is… besar him and being seemingly sad of leaving him? Well, unless she pities him más than anything else, but hey, I hope it’s the case, because it just looks like romanticizing violence and abuse to me. Raoul is a total douche, so is Meg at times, in a way it looks like they’re trying to build bridges with amor Never Dies. And I’m supposed to believe in this context Christine goes back to a man who was violent and abusive with her to sleep with him? Plus, the staging can pretty weird: I mean, in música of the Night, tu have the Phantom blindfolding Christine during “close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams” which reminds me of something else and leaves me uneasy, and then, during “Floating, falling, sweet intoxication”, he starts waltzing with her titanic style, which could be actually sort of nice if in the end, he didn’t just let Christine randomly flop on the ground. Fail. Furthermore, the costumes are pretty floppy and sad and Christine is there doing loads of headache actuación to the point tu wonder if they really wanted to mostrar that she does have some mental illness, though the US tour got better since the UK tour who got the same staging.

Wow they make Erik seem like a sexually abusive man I know he is not meant to be a saint but yeah not very nice for some reason it sounds like 50 shades of grey phantom style and I don't like 50 shades of grey

I know, right? I mean, no, I'm not that person who'll be there excusing everything Erik did, but still, there's a to everything.

Yeah I find it creepy but can see where your coming from I really don't understand why they decided for him to not be disfigured and be raised por rats which is also another creepy thing about it

I'd have to say it's the Australian version of the sequel, "Love Never Dies". Technically, it's a version of POTO, and it has the characters...but man was that one awful. I much preferred the version with Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo. It was just....cheapened and tawdry. (Though they should have been set in 1891, both of them, since the original story is 1881)

But if tu want to know the worst version of POTO itself, I'd have to say is the Dario Andretti version. What the hell was he thinking when he made that?? Psychic phantoms with long hair raised por rats? What the hell??

Yes I seen that version Julian sands played the phantom in that I don't know why he made him psychic let alone raised por rats also he wasn't even disfigured in the movie.
